Siena/Francis House
Homeless Shelter

The region's largest shelter providing food, shelter,
clothing and hope to homeless men, women, and children

Critical Needs List

Below is a list of the Siena/Francis House's critical needs.  You can drop off these and any donated items to the loading dock of our Siena/Francis House Baright Shelter, located at 1111 North 17th Street.  This building is located on the east side of 17th Street, just north of the corner of 17th & Nicholas Streets (and Nicholas Street is two blocks north of Cuming Street).  Unfortunately, Nicholas Street is impassable on 17th and 18th Street, due to the City’s sewer-separation project.  So, if you do plan to drop off donations to our shelter, we advise you to use 19th or 20th Street and go east on Paul Street (which is 4 blocks north of Cuming Street), and follow the posted detour signs to arrive at our loading dock.  The loading dock is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. every day of the year.  Our staff members at the loading dock can give you a receipt for your donation, if you would like one.  Thank you for considering donating your used blankets & pillows to the Siena/Francis House homeless shelter!
