Current Statistics

The past few years have seen increasing numbers of persons falling into homelessness. This was certainly the case in 2010, as the Siena/Francis House served 429,232 meals and provided 160,877 nights of shelter – both of which were record numbers – to nearly 4,000 homeless men, women and kids who showed up at our door. This means that, on average in 2010, the Siena/Francis House served over 1,176 meals each day, and provided a bed (or mattress or chair in our overflow shelter areas) to over 440 persons each night, in our facilities that have 341 total beds. In addition, the Siena/Francis House Day Services Center helped 416 homeless families and individuals attain permanent housing in 2010.
